Yoga Foundations

Yoga foundations is a slower moving class focussing on alignment and breath in common yoga postures. To build understanding and stability in each pose, our teachers provide step-by-step verbal description and frequent demonstration with a sprinkle of yoga philosophy, adding purpose to your practice. This class is perfect if you are new to yoga, or if you want to go back to basics to deepen your understanding of the practice. As with all our classes, all ages, genders, levels of fitness and experience are welcome!

Yoga Stretch

Yoga Stretch is a low intensity class style that focusses on gently opening the body in order to leave you feeling restored and rejuvenated. The slower pace of this class allows you the time and space for reflection. This encourages you to cultivate deeper internal awareness through mindful movement and breath work.
Yoga Stretch is fantastic for anyone looking for ways to reduce stress, if you are recovering from injury or illness, or simply looking for a stretch out to compliment your personal fitness regime.

Yoga Flow

Yoga Flow is an energising class style that focusses on the unification of movement and breath. This steadily paced practice warms the body while building both strength and flexibility. It will focus the mind and encourage greater mind-body awareness as you move fluidly from posture to posture.
Yoga Flow is particularly beneficial if you are looking to deepen your understanding of how your breath can effect wellbeing. All while you tone up and gain mobility, strength and grace.

Yoga Strength

Yoga Strength is a dynamic class style that is designed to challenge you in a safe and supportive environment. This humbling practice gives you the space to explore your body’s capabilities with an in-depth focus on correct alignment and muscle activation. Different options are provided by our teachers when moving to more challenging postures. We always encourage you to listen to your body and take the option that best suits you.
Yoga Strength is great for anyone looking for a fun physical and mental challenge. It will encourage you to tap into your inner child and gain a greater understanding of what you are truely capable of!

Meditation

Meditation is a practice of concentrated focus to promote relaxation, reduce stress and increase awareness of the present moment. The point of focus for our classes is a guided visualisation that will lead you on a journey inward, enhancing personal and spiritual growth. Some of the many benefits of Meditation include increased memory, focus, communication abilities, tolerance and emotional stability. Recent research shows that a regular meditation practice may slow age related thinning of the frontal cortex, leading to longer lasting executive functioning.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue of the body (fascia) that is often missed  in a more active style of practice. When stretching and strengthening the fascia, you can increase joint mobility, flexibility and circulation. Yin postures are passive and mostly floor-based allowing you to completely surrender and disengage muscular effort. Postures are generally held for 3-5 minutes at a time using a number of props to maximise comfort. Long holds can be both physically and mentally challenging, requiring you to search for stillness in both mind and body. This stillness in turn calms the mind and body which can help reduce levels of stress and anxiety.

Pilates Basics

Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance through the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination, stability and balance. In our Pilates Basics classes we focus on precise movements and correct engagement of the pelvic floor and abdominals to help strengthen the core and protect the back. We work on various muscle groups each class. These are fun and energising classes that will leave you a little sweaty with a big smile!

Pilates Barre

Pilates Barre classes are a full body workout that fuse the best elements of ballet, Pilates, sports conditioning and stretching for a truly unique and fun experience. Our classes focus on precision and proper form, using smaller movements to isolate specific muscle groups that aren’t regularly used. This class is fantastic for toning to build long, lean muscle, weight loss and getting those good endorphins running!

Pilates Power

Power Pilates, just like Pilates but with a little extra sweat, burn and tone! Pilates improves flexibility whilst building strength, coordination, and endurance through the entire body using a functional range of movement. In our Power Pilates classes we use body weight and small repetitive movements to target small specific muscle groups that gym workouts often miss. You will work on a variety of muscle groups each class, and leave feeling longer and stronger!
